Google Tasks → Jira: turn tasks into issues

Import your Google Tasks into Jira as issues in one step. Tempus reads your pending tasks and, after creating the Jira issue, marks the original task complete — the only write it makes. Client-side, works with any Jira.

Tempus turns the to-dos you already keep in Google Tasks into real Jira work. Pick a task, Tempus creates the Jira issue from it, and then marks the original Google task as completed so your list stays clean — no copy-pasting titles, no duplicate tracking in two places.

Come funziona

  1. Connect Google Tasks once from the Tempus popup (you choose which Google account).
  2. Open the task list you want to work from — Tempus shows your not-yet-completed tasks.
  3. Import a task: pick the Jira project and Tempus creates the issue from the task.
  4. Tempus marks the original Google task as completed, so it drops off your list.

What Tempus reads — and the one thing it writes

Google Tasks uses the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/tasks scope. Tempus reads the not-yet-completed tasks of the list you choose to offer them for import. The only write it makes is marking an imported task as completed — it does not create or delete tasks or lists, and it never touches your contacts, email or Drive. Tasks data is processed in your browser and never sent to a Tempus server.

The Tasks scope is disclosed in full in the privacy policy. For setup details, see the Google Tasks documentation.

Pair it with Google Calendar to capture both your meetings and your to-dos as Jira work. For plans, see pricing.

FAQ

Does Tempus delete or change my Google Tasks?

The only change Tempus makes is marking a task as completed after you import it into Jira. It never creates, edits or deletes tasks or task lists, and it does not access any other Google data.

What happens to the task after I import it?

Tempus creates a Jira issue from the task and then marks the original Google task as completed, so you track the work in Jira and your Google Tasks list stays tidy.
