Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By installing or using the Tempus Chrome extension ("the Extension"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not install or use the Extension. These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and Tempus AI PM ("we", "us", "our").

2. Description of service

Tempus is a Chrome browser extension that provides time tracking, team visibility, project health insights, and integrations for Jira Cloud users. The Extension operates as a local interface to your existing tools and does not require a separate account or backend server.

3. Free and Pro tiers

Tempus offers a free tier with core time tracking features and a Pro tier with additional capabilities including team views, AI analysis, Google Calendar integration, Gmail reports, and CRM sync. The Pro tier requires a paid subscription. Pricing, payment terms, and subscription details are presented at the time of upgrade within the Extension.

4. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have authorization to access the Jira Cloud instances, Tempo accounts, Google accounts, and CRM systems you connect through Tempus.
• The accuracy and appropriateness of the data you log, sync, or report using the Extension.
• Complying with your organization's policies regarding time tracking and data sharing.
• Maintaining the security of your browser and accounts.

5. Data and privacy

Your use of Tempus is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Tempus processes data locally in your browser. We do not collect, store, or have access to your Jira data, worklogs, or personal information.

6. Intellectual property

The Extension, including its code, design, and documentation, is the intellectual property of Tempus AI PM. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or redistribute the Extension or any part of it. Custom addons built for your organization remain your property in terms of configuration data, but the addon framework and underlying technology remain ours.

7. Third-party services

Tempus integrates with third-party services (Atlassian, Google, Microsoft, Salesforce, AI providers). Your use of these services through Tempus is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services.

8. AI features

Pro features include AI-powered analysis. AI-generated insights are provided for informational purposes only and should not be treated as definitive assessments. You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before acting on it or sharing it with others.

9. Availability and updates

We strive to keep Tempus available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may release updates, modify features, or discontinue functionality at any time. Updates are delivered automatically through the Chrome Web Store.

10. Limitation of liability

Tempus is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or business interruption, arising from your use of or inability to use the Extension.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of Tempus shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €50, whichever is greater.

11. Custom addons

Custom addon development is provided under separate agreements. Addon configurations are deployed as JSON files and operate within the Extension's framework. We are not responsible for data mapping errors or sync issues resulting from incorrect addon configurations provided by you or your organization.

12. Termination

You may stop using Tempus at any time by uninstalling the Extension. We may suspend or terminate your access to Pro features if you violate these Terms or fail to maintain an active subscription. Upon termination, your locally stored data remains on your device until you clear it.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of Tempus after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will provide notice within the Extension.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Spain. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Granada, Spain.
