What's new
Everything we have shipped to Tempus lately — new features, improvements and fixes, newest first.
- Tempus AI assistant — manage your time from chat — Ask the built-in assistant to log, edit or move your worklogs in plain language — every change is confirmed before it happens. One-click actions draft your daily standup, fill your hours, and compare the month against your plan.
- Proactive watcher — Opt-in background checks warn you when a due date is near or overdue, an issue goes stale, you have logged no hours today, or something is newly assigned — with zero AI tokens by default.
- Continue a client timesheet — Upload the document your client already has and Tempus appends this project's hours for the period, pulled from Jira and matched to the right rows. Works with CSV and XLSX; past periods are never overwritten.
- Time logs land on the right day — Fixed a timezone edge case where logging in the small hours could record time on the previous day in positive-offset timezones.
- Clearer Activity view — The passive Activity tracker now shows real Confluence page and space names and Jira issue titles, and keeps the day you are viewing when you log.
- Salesforce CRM, end to end — Connect Salesforce and view or correct a project's key fields right next to your Jira work, with a per-project strip and a clear status badge. Dynamics 365 and Salesforce can run side by side.
- See exactly what's logged each day — In AI Auto-log, click any day to expand its breakdown — each worklog's project, issue, hours, title and comment, with meetings shown as context. No extra API calls.
- Second Brain capture for Auto-log — The weekly AI Auto-log now reasons about what you actually did — issue changelogs, your commits and pull requests, and the Confluence pages you edited — so time suggestions are grounded in evidence, not guesswork.
- Google Tasks to Jira — Connect Google Tasks, review them, and import them into Jira; the source task is completed after a successful import.
- Prompts are now Skills — The prompt library is presented as reusable Skills, authored in Markdown so they are easier to read and maintain.
- More reliable Google Calendar connection — Signing in to Google Calendar now works consistently across Chrome and Edge.
- Quick Connect — one-click Jira setup — Connect Jira without creating your own OAuth app. The self-managed Advanced flow is still available.
