What it captures
Auto-log reads signals you already generate during the week — no manual logging required:
- Jira issue changes — transitions, assignments and comments on your issues
- Commits and pull requests — development activity linked to issues
- Confluence edits — pages you created or updated
- Google Calendar events — meetings, read-only
How a week works
- Open Auto-log for the week. Tempus shows your captured activity and the hours still unlogged.
- The AI drafts a worklog per day, mapping activity to issues, with its reasoning shown.
- Edit anything in the grid — move hours, change issues, add comments.
- Batch-confirm. Every entry is written to Jira (and Tempo) at once.
Auto-log never logs silently. Nothing reaches Jira until you review and confirm the draft.
Requirements
AI Auto-log is a Pro feature and uses your own Claude or Gemini API key (BYOK). Only the metrics needed to draft the week are sent to your chosen provider — see Privacy & data handling.
